His mother is relentless about grades and college, he is constantly being shot down by girls, tearing down his already low self-esteem, and his friends do little to help. Alcohol, the one thing he swore he would never do, and parties become his escape and take precedence over everything else. His downward spiral may end up preventing him from doing anything good with his life.
