Cedric Pendleton knew from an early age that he was destined for the stage. Born in Florence, Alabama, Cedric moved to Atlanta, where he delivered his first professional performance in Actor’s Express Theater production Stand-Up Tragedy. Cedric later added commercials, voiceovers and industrials to his resume and eventually relocated to the West Coast. His work in independent film includes roles in Runaway Jury, Summer Catch, Diary of a Mad Black Woman and Madea's Family Reunion. On television, Cedric has appeared in such films and series as The Fantasia Barino Story, The Shield, The Guardian, One Tree Hill, Strong Medicine and NYPD Blue.




 
Vanessa Koman is a former South Coast  Repertory student of acting and improv in Southern California.  Her film credits include the independent features Invisible Mom and Little Miss Magic.  Her theatre credits include Proof (in the role of Catherine) and Match (as Lisa) at the Orange Curtain Theatre and The Graduate (Elaine Robinson) and The Rocky Horror Show (Phantom) at The Maverick Theater.  She most recently appeared at The Long Beach Playhouse as Elizabeth in Catch Me If You Can.  She is a current student of Svetlana Efremova.  Vanessa is honored to be a part of this film festival. 




Glenn Shadix was born in Bessemer, Alabama. In his early years, he traveled and lived all over Alabama, Tennessee and Florida. Enrolling at Florence State University (now UNA), Glenn worked with Oscar-nominated, Tony Award-winning actress Peggy Cass in the school’s summer-theatre production of Goodbye, My Fancy. He later moved to Birmingham before earning his Equity card in Atlanta. He worked in New York theatre before relocating to Los Angeles, where director Tim Burton cast him as Otho, the psychic interior designer, in the macabre comedy Beetlejuice. Since then, Glenn has appeared in more than 30 features and countless television shows, including The Nightmare Before Christmas, Heathers, Demolition Man, Planet of the Apes, Love Affair, The Postman Always Rings Twice and HBO’s Carnivale.
