Mission
The George Lindsey UNA Film Festival was founded by alumnus and celebrated actor and entertainer George Lindsey - current host of Turner South's Emmy Award-winning "Liars & Legends." Lindsey is well known for his regular roles on the former "Andy Griffith Show" and his many credits in television and the big screen, including episodes of "Twilight Zone," "The Alfred Hitchcock Hour," "Gunsmoke," and "M A S H."
The festival, one of the few presented in a university
setting, provides attendees with an exceptional lineup of free workshops,
panels, quality film screenings, one-on-one networking opportunities and
informal interaction among filmmakers and guests.
