COMMENTS:

"I want to sincerely thank every person involved in pulling together a film festival on the UNA campus. It, no doubt, required devotion and tenacity. I also thank the audience of the festival, who chose to attend a live event--a coming together of human beings--an act that leaves the intangible, but may be the most vital, residue of contemplating a work of art in a shared time/space. Thank you for the award. I hope it indicates that my grandfather's story is still relevant, that it gives impetus to considering how one is to conduct oneself vis-a-vis  ongoing technological developments. I wish the festival at least as many more years of thriving as it has enjoyed so far."
